Each box contains two single-use nasal spray devices, each delivering a 4 mg dose of naloxone – a fast-acting opioid antagonist that can temporarily reverse and block the effects of opioids by binding to receptors in the brain and nervous system.
NARCAN® is needle-free, easy to administer, and requires no medical training or prescription. It is safe for anyone to use in an emergency situation. Always call 911 before administering NARCAN® and remain with the person until help arrives.
